The premier library science student association in the Philippines, the UPLISSA, held the 2nd Library & Information Science Congress (LIS Congress) on January 23, 2010 at the IBM Innovation Center, UP-Ayala Land Technohub . A gathering that would allow students to learn about the latest trend in their field and network with fellow students from different schools and some of the country’s leading information professionals. It is hoped that the Congress would be a future platform for students to air out issues that face them and the world at-large and transform tough challenges into bright opportunities. Among the topics discussed were:
