The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the UP Library and Information Science Students’ Association is the principal governing body of the organization.

It is composed of the President, the Executive Secretary and the Chairpersons of the Standing Committees. The Executive Committee (ExeComm) plans, manages and executes all decisions, policies and activities agreed upon by the organization. The President heads the ExeComm and presides over all Executive, General and Special meetings of the UPLISSA. The terms of the all the members of the ExeComm is one (1) calendar year.

Although faculty advisers are not part of the Executive Committee, they closely monitor the activities of the organization. They come from the roster of faculty of the UP School of Library and Information Studies and are usually alumni of the UPLISSA.
